Acid Resistant Pump – IGF Series for Hydrochloric & Sulfuric Acid Transfer
Working Principle
The pump operates on a direct-drive centrifugal design. Liquid enters through the axial inlet, gains kinetic energy from the high-speed impeller, and discharges through the radial outlet. All wetted parts—including the casing, impeller, and cover—are lined or overmolded with F46 fluoroplastic, ensuring complete protection against corrosion. The externally-mounted bellows mechanical seal can be fitted with ceramic, silicon carbide, or tungsten carbide faces, providing long-lasting, leak-free operation even with aggressive media.
Applications
1.Chemical Processing: Transfers hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, caustic soda, and organic solvents for reactor feed, tank transfer, and acid unloading.
2.Pharmaceutical & Bioengineering: Handles acidic/alkaline materials and solvents, with the lining preventing metal ion contamination.
3.Metallurgy & Electroplating: Suitable for plating bath circulation (chrome, zinc, nickel, copper) and spent acid treatment.
4.Water Treatment & Environmental: Used in acid/alkali neutralization and hazardous chemical waste collection.
5.Power Generation: Applied in flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems and chemical water treatment.
