Bag Filter | Stainless Steel Bag Filter Housing
Working Principle
Liquid enters the housing under pressure and flows into the filter bag. Solid particles and contaminants are trapped inside the bag, while clean liquid passes through the bag media and exits through the outlet.
As filtration continues, accumulated solids build up inside the bag and the pressure differential rises. Once the preset pressure difference is reached, stop the feed and replace the bag — the housing itself needs no frequent cleaning, saving labour and downtime. Filtration accuracy down to 0.5 μm is achievable.
Application Fields
Chemical industry: Filtration of chemical process liquids to remove solid impurities. Pharmaceutical industry: Clarification of pharmaceutical solutions and botanical extracts. Automotive industry: Filtration of coatings, cutting fluids and cleaning liquids.
Light industry: Purification of various light-industry process fluids.
Food industry: Liquid clarification for beverages, syrups and food-grade raw materials. Electroplating industry: Filtration of plating baths to reduce particle defects on finished parts.
