Belt Conveyor
Working Principle
The drive unit rotates the head pulley. Friction between pulley and belt drives the endless belt for continuous closed‑loop operation. Closely‑arranged idlers support belt and material weight to avoid belt sagging. Materials are loaded at the feeding end and discharged by inertia at the head pulley. The tail pulley cooperates with tensioning mechanism to maintain proper belt tension and prevent slippage. Scrapers clear residual materials on return‑side belt, realizing uninterrupted feeding, transfer and discharging.
Application Fields
Mining and Aggregate Industry: Long‑distance transfer of raw coal, crushed stone and ore waste; matched with crushers for stone conveying lines.
Grain Storage and Processing: Inbound, outbound and truck‑loading transfer for wheat, corn, rice; food‑grade belts avoid material contamination.
Building Materials and Cement Industry: Transport cement raw meal, clinker, fly ash and sand‑gravel aggregates; high‑temperature and wear‑resistant belts available for hot powder materials.
Chemical Raw Material Handling: Convey granular chemicals, plastic pellets and bagged chemical goods; corrosion‑resistant belts for mildly corrosive media.
Factory Assembly‑Line Operations: Transfer electronic parts, packaged products and carton boxes; light‑duty belt conveyors widely used on assembly lines.
Key Advantages
