Cake Crusher | Filter Cake Shredder
Working Principle
The cake crusher adopts a twin-shaft shearing structure. Driven by motors, the main shafts rotate in opposite directions with alloy cutting blades mounted on them. Bulk filter cakes fall into the crushing chamber through the top feed inlet. Under the combined shearing, squeezing and tearing force of blade teeth, large lumps are shredded into small particles. The crushed material discharges from the bottom outlet to finish size reduction. Capable of continuous feeding, it delivers consistent particle size for further processing and transportation.
Application Fields
Chemical & Environmental Protection: Crushing filter cakes generated from municipal sludge and chemical slurry filtration, supporting sludge volume reduction.
Mining & Energy: Size reduction of filter cakes from coal washing and mineral processing for convenient slag transport and reuse.
Light Industry & Manufacturing: Pre-crushing of filter cakes from pharmaceutical, food, ceramic and metallurgical filter pressing operations.
