Cartridge Filter | Stainless Steel Cartridge Precision Filter
Working Principle
Raw fluid enters the sealed stainless steel filter vessel under pressure. Liquid permeates from the outer side of the filter cartridge toward the inner core. Suspended solids, fine particles and colloidal impurities contained in the fluid are trapped on the surface or within the medium of the filter cartridge. The purified filtrate after filtration converges to the central inner core of the cartridge and continuously discharges from the filter outlet. As filtration proceeds, impurities accumulated on the cartridge gradually increase, raising the differential pressure between inlet and outlet. When the pressure difference reaches the preset threshold, shut down the system, open the filter housing, take out cartridges for cleaning or directly install new cartridges to complete one filtration cycle. The equipment can resume filtration after reassembly. It requires simple maintenance and avoids secondary contamination of materials.
Application Fields
Petrochemical Industry: Precision filtration of crude oil, chemical intermediates and circulating fluids. It removes solid particulate impurities inside pipelines to protect downstream process equipment including pumps, valves and heat exchangers, preventing pipeline blockage and equipment abrasion.
Oilfield Pipeline: On-line filtration of produced water, wellhead fluids and pipeline conveying media. It intercepts sediment and solid-phase particles to ensure stable operation of oilfield pipelines.
Food & Pharmaceutical Industry: Clarification, impurity removal and sterile filtration of fruit juice, beverages, syrup, fermentation broth and pharmaceutical feed liquid, meeting sanitary-grade fluid processing requirements.
Bioengineering: Solid-liquid separation of biological fermentation liquid, culture medium and biological agents. It removes mycelial residues and suspended impurities to stabilize biological production processes.
Water Treatment: Purification of pure water, ultra-pure water, circulating water and advanced wastewater treatment. It works as a security filter to protect membrane elements such as reverse osmosis membranes and ultrafiltration membranes.
Fine Chemical Industry: Precision impurity filtration of various corrosive liquids, additives and solvents. It eliminates suspended solids and improves the cleanliness of finished products.
