Column ultrafiltration membrane is a pressure-driven hollow fiber UF module with hydrophilic modified PVDF material and integrated cylindrical housing. Based on physical sieving, it effectively removes suspended solids, colloids, bacteria and macromolecular organics with stable filtration precision. It features good resistance to acid, alkali and oxidant cleaning, outstanding anti-fouling performance and high membrane fiber strength with low fiber breakage rate. Modular column design saves space and simplifies installation & maintenance. Widely used as core filter element for RO pre-treatment, advanced wastewater treatment and water reuse to deliver clear and stable permeate.

Working Principle
Driven by pressure, raw water flows into the column UF module and is filtered by outside-in hollow fiber membrane. Impurities larger than membrane pores such as suspended solids, colloids, bacteria and algae are retained outside the membrane, while clean water penetrates the fibers as permeate. Combined air-water scrubbing and on-line chemical cleaning remove surface fouling to maintain stable flux. It can run continuously with automatic control system for long-term water treatment projects.
