Working Principle Pre-coat diatomaceous earth filter aid evenly on the internal filter elements to form a porous filter layer. Raw liquid is pumped into the filter tank under pressure. Liquid flows through the pre-coated DE layer, while suspended solids, colloids, microorganisms and bacteria are trapped by the diatomaceous earth filter cake. Clarified filtrate passes through filter elements and flows out from the outlet. As filtration continues, impurities build up on the filter cake and differential pressure rises. When reaching preset pressure, stop feeding, clean filter elements and re-coat diatomaceous earth to start a new filtration cycle. The porous structure of DE enables high-precision clarification to remove fine suspended solids and harmful microbes.
