Feed Plunger Pump | High Pressure Feed Plunger Pump
Working Principle
The feed plunger pump uses hydraulic power to drive the plunger for reciprocating linear motion. When the plunger moves upward, the pump chamber volume expands and creates negative pressure, drawing medium into the chamber through the suction valve. As the plunger travels down, the chamber compresses and pressure rises. The suction valve closes, and the medium is discharged at high pressure through the discharge valve. Operators can adjust the plunger stroke to change output flow and deliver steady high-pressure feed to downstream equipment. The dual-plunger design alternates suction and discharge to reduce pressure pulsation and maintain continuous feeding under high-pressure conditions.
Application Fields
Hydraulic Equipment: High-pressure fluid delivery for hydraulic presses, supplying stable pressurized medium for hydraulic circuits.
Construction Machinery: High-pressure transfer of mud and slurry for engineering hydraulic systems.
Marine Industry: Vessel fluid transfer, high-pressure delivery of ballast water and process slurries. Solid-Liquid Separation: Filter press feeding, pumping raw slurry into filter press chambers for squeezing and filtration.
