Filter press plates serve as the core filtration components for plate-and-frame filter presses and membrane filter presses. Made of high-strength polypropylene, these plates work together with filter cloth to form sealed filter chambers. They trap solid particles and channel filtrate away during sludge dewatering and slurry solid-liquid separation. With strong pressure resistance and long service life, they are widely used as replacement spare parts for many types of filter presses.

Working Principle
Plate-and-frame filter assemblies consist of filter plates and filter frames. Plates and frames with built-in filtrate channels are arranged alternately, with filter cloth sandwiched between them. A hydraulic system clamps the whole stack tightly to form independent sealed filter chambers. When slurry is pumped in, liquid passes through filter cloth and flows out via internal plate channels, while solids are captured inside chambers to build filter cakes for solid-liquid separation. Once filtration finishes, the stack opens and filter cakes drop off for discharge.
