FRP Grease Trap | Gravity Oil Water Separation Equipment
Working Principle
It adopts three-stage gravity separation based on density difference. Oily wastewater flows into the first chamber, where the screen basket intercepts food residues and solid particles. In the second chamber, the flow cross-section expands and flow velocity decreases. Tiny oil droplets collide and merge into large oil beads. Since oil is less dense than water, oil floats upward to the top oil collection zone, while heavy sediment sinks into the sludge hopper. Built-in inclined plates accelerate coalescence of micro oil droplets and improve separation performance. Clarified wastewater in the middle layer overflows to the third chamber and discharges through outlet pipe. Floating grease and settled sludge can be cleaned regularly through inspection ports. The whole process runs without power supply with low operation cost, and oil removal efficiency reaches over 90%.
