Inline Sewage Grinder | Pipeline Grinder | Dual-Shaft Sewage Grinder

Product Information

As a highly efficient Inline Sewage Grinder, this equipment completely changes the traditional pumping station dilemma of manually raking screen debris. Installed directly at the bottom of the pump station or in the pipeline, it uses high-speed rotating blades to macerate solids like cloth strips and plastics into fine particles, allowing them to flow away with the water. This eliminates the need for manual disposal, avoids odors and secondary pollution, and is ideal for fully buried, unattended pumping stations.

Working Principle

Wastewater flows in through the grinder screens on both sides, and large solids are intercepted on the outside. The high-speed rotating cutting blades (rotor drums) inside interlock to shear and tear the trapped debris into tiny fragments. The macerated particles pass through the screen and are pumped away with the flow. This design not only prevents blockages in pipes and pump impellers but also significantly reduces the construction and operating costs of the pumping station.

Application Fields

1.Fully buried pumping stations: replacing traditional screens to eliminate odors.
2.Municipal lift pumps: shredding debris to protect pumps.
3.Industrial wastewater lift systems: macerating plastics and fibers.
4.Hospitals and commercial complexes: anti-clogging in underground spaces.

FAQ

Q1: What is the difference between this grinder and a standard rotary bar screen?
A: An Inline Sewage Grinder "shreds" the trash and flushes it away with the water, whereas a standard screen "scoops" it up for external disposal. This design requires no manual raking, keeps the site very clean, and truly realizes unattended, enclosed pumping station management.

Q2: Will the blades be damaged if hard objects (like stones or iron blocks) get in?
A: The equipment features mechanical overload protection and auto-reverse functions. When a hard object jams the blades, they will automatically reverse to spit it out. If repeated reversals fail, the system will automatically shut down and alarm to prevent motor burnout or blade breakage.

Q3: What material are the blades made of? Do they wear out easily?
A: The blades are typically made of high-strength alloy steel or stainless steel, specially heat-treated for high hardness and wear resistance. When handling standard domestic sewage, their service life can last for years with virtually no daily maintenance required.
