Concrete pump truck

Product Information

  • Name : Concrete pump truck
  • SKU : BLT-116
  • Category : concrete-pump-trucks

Concrete pump trucks, often referred to as boom pumps, are specialized engineering vehicles mounted on heavy truck chassis. They integrate high-pressure pumping systems with foldable hydraulic booms, enabling direct connection to mixer trucks. By using pipelines to deliver concrete under high pressure, they precisely transport concrete to elevated, distant, or confined construction areas for pouring. With strong mobility and no need for additional pipeline installation, they are core pouring equipment for high-rise buildings, bridges, and large-scale infrastructure projects.

Working Principle The vehicle's engine powers a hydraulic main pump, which drives the reciprocating motion of the piston inside the pumping cylinder. After the concrete mixer truck unloads the material into the pump's hopper, the S-type distribution valve switches the flow path, forcing the concrete under pressure into the wear-resistant delivery pipeline inside the boom. The multi-section hydraulic boom can rotate 360°, fold, and tilt, guiding the hose at the end of the pipeline to the target pouring location, continuously delivering concrete under high pressure to complete the placement. During operation, hydraulic outriggers extend from both sides of the vehicle to support the ground, counteracting the pumping reaction force and ensuring vehicle stability. Application Areas 1. High-rise building construction: Concrete pouring for floor slabs, beams, and columns of high-rise residential buildings and office towers, capable of vertical delivery to heights of several tens of meters. 2. Road and bridge engineering: Long-span concrete placement for bridge box girders, piers, and elevated road surfaces. 3. Municipal and building construction: Large-area continuous pouring for basements, foundation pits, factory floors, and large venues. 4. Emergency and special conditions: Tunnel linings, slope reinforcement, and narrow construction sites, replacing manual pipeline installation.
