Mining trucks, also known as off-highway mining dump trucks, are heavy-duty transport vehicles specifically designed for open-pit mines. They are not permitted to travel on public roads and are exclusively used for hauling ultra-large tonnages of ore and earth-rock materials. The frame and body are constructed from high-strength, wear-resistant steel, offering strong load-bearing capacity and impact-resistant chassis, making them suitable for muddy, steep, and gravel-covered mine roads. They are often used in conjunction with excavators and loaders to complete the transfer and dumping of mined materials.

Working Principle The high-power diesel/electric powertrain delivers strong torque to drive the vehicle. Upon reaching the unloading point, the hydraulic lifting cylinder pushes the rear of the massive cargo box upward and tilts it, allowing the material to slide down automatically by gravity for self-unloading. The oil-gas suspension structure absorbs road bumps in mining areas, ensuring stability under heavy loads. Application Fields 1. Open-pit mines: Short-distance transport of ore and stripped soil during coal, iron, and sand/stone mining. 2. Large-scale infrastructure: Earthwork for major projects, dam construction, and excavation waste transport at airport sites. 3. Quarries: Bulk on-site transfer of raw stone and finished crushed stone products. 4. Tailings management: Removal of waste from tailings ponds and transport of backfill soil for site reclamation.
