  • Category : pavers

Asphalt pavers are core equipment in road construction, primarily used for the uniform paving of asphalt mixtures on highways and municipal roads. They can autonomously complete integrated operations such as material feeding, spreading, vibrating, and smoothing, enabling precise control of pavement thickness, crown, and flatness. Mainstream models are divided into two types: wheeled and tracked. They are often paired with dump trucks for material supply and rollers for subsequent compaction, making them essential machinery for asphalt pavement laying.

Paver

Working Principle The dump truck pours asphalt mixture into the paver's hopper. The internal scraper conveyor transports the mixture to the center of the machine, where the screw spreader distributes it evenly laterally. The front tamping bar then preliminarily compacts the material, and finally, the rear screed plate, relying on its own weight and hydraulic pressure, irons and levels the road surface. During continuous operation, the machine produces a smooth and standard-thickness road base and surface layer in a single pass. Application Areas 1. Highway Engineering: Asphalt surface layer paving for expressways, national highways, and urban arterial roads 2. Municipal Construction: Paving and renovation of city roads, sidewalks, and non-motor vehicle lanes 3. Site Engineering: Asphalt paving for parking lots, factory floors, and plazas 4. Maintenance Engineering: Road pothole repair and thin overlay construction on old road surfaces
