Surface miner
Working Principle
When the equipment moves forward, the bottom cutting drum rotates in reverse, and the hard picks on the drum surface cut and strip rock, soil, and ore layers from bottom to top. The crushed material is carried into the housing by the drum, gathered by internal scrapers, and conveyed to the belt conveyor in the middle of the machine body. It is then transferred to the rear discharge conveyor, which can swing left and right and adjust its height, allowing direct loading into dump trucks or on-site stockpiling. The entire machine is equipped with an automatic leveling system to precisely control cutting depth, enabling selective mining of thin ore seams. The crawler travel mechanism ensures stable operation on complex mine terrains.
Application Fields
1. Open-pit Mines: Continuous mining and overburden stripping in open-pit mines such as coal, salt, limestone, and bauxite mines.
2. Quarrying: Fine extraction of stone materials in sand and gravel quarries, producing uniformly sized crushed stone raw materials.
3. Infrastructure Engineering: Large-scale site excavation, roadbed earthwork stripping, and rock layer excavation for foundation pits.
4. Environmental Remediation: Tailings management, land reclamation, slope trimming, and site leveling operations.
