Underground Load-Haul-Dump (LHD)
Working Principle
The engine provides power to drive the articulated body, while the hydraulic system controls the lifting of the boom and the tilting of the bucket. After scooping up ore, slag, or soil, it transports the material over short distances to the unloading point for dumping. The articulated steering allows for flexible turning within tunnels.
Application Areas
1. Underground Mines: Ore loading and hauling operations in underground metal and non-metal mines.
2. Tunnel Excavation: Clearing and transporting waste rock, slag, and soil from underground excavation faces.
3. Underground Engineering: Short-distance earth and stone hauling operations in tunnels and underground roadways.
4. Underground Construction: Short-distance transport of construction materials and small components in underground worksites.
