Product Information

  • Name : Bulldozer
  • SKU : BLT-123
  • Category : bulldozers

A bulldozer is a heavy earthmoving machine, primarily consisting of a crawler undercarriage, a power compartment on the body, and a front-mounted adjustable blade, with some models equipped with a rear ripper. Relying on its crawler structure, it adapts to challenging terrains such as mud, soft ground, and steep slopes. The blade can perform tasks like leveling ground, piling earth, digging shallow trenches, and slope trimming. It can also be fitted with ripper teeth to break hard soil and weathered rock layers. Bulldozers are categorized into standard crawler models and small-scale construction variants, offering high traction and exceptional off-road capability.

Working Principle The diesel engine outputs power, which is transmitted through the drivetrain to drive the tracks on both sides, enabling the machine to move forward, backward, and turn. The hydraulic system controls the lifting and tilting of the bulldozer blade cylinder, adjusting the blade's height and angle. As the machine moves forward, the blade cuts and pushes soil. The rear ripper is lowered into the ground via a hydraulic cylinder to break up hard surfaces, facilitating subsequent earthwork operations. The machine relies on its own weight and track adhesion to provide strong traction, completing earthmoving, leveling, and compaction in a single pass. Application Areas 1. Infrastructure Engineering: Site clearing and leveling, foundation pit backfilling, roadbed construction, and road slope trimming. 2. Mining Operations: Pushing and stacking mine waste, leveling open-pit mining surfaces, and clearing gangue waste. 3. Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Conservancy: Dam construction, river cofferdam work, and land reclamation and leveling. 4. Emergency Rescue: Clearing landslides, opening roads in disaster areas, and snow removal on icy roads.
