Asphalt mixing equipment
Working Principle
Various types of crushed aggregates are fed from the cold bin according to the specified proportions and transported via a belt conveyor into the drying drum, where a fuel burner heats and dehydrates the aggregates. The high-temperature aggregates are then conveyed by a bucket elevator to the main tower's vibrating screen for classification and stored in multiple hot aggregate bins. Subsequently, the hot aggregates, mineral powder, and liquid asphalt are precisely weighed and fed into the mixing drum for forced mixing, ensuring the asphalt fully coats the aggregates to form finished asphalt mixture, which can be directly loaded for transport. The flue gas and dust generated during production are purified by a baghouse dust collector, with the recovered dust being recycled to reduce pollutant emissions.
Application Fields
1. Highway Engineering: New pavement construction for expressways, national highways, and provincial roads, as well as milling, repair, and resurfacing maintenance of existing roads.
2. Municipal Engineering: Asphalt paving for urban main and secondary roads, community roads, industrial park roads, and sidewalks.
3. Special Pavements: Asphalt surface layer paving for airport runways, aprons, port yards, and bridge decks.
4. Recycling Engineering: Heating and remixing of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) materials to produce recycled asphalt mixtures, enabling waste material reuse.
5. Customized Pavements: Production of special pavement materials such as landscape roads, greenways, colored asphalt, and modified asphalt.
