Scraper conveyor

Product Information

  • Name : Scraper conveyor
  • SKU : BLT-131
  • Category : scraper-conveyors

The scraper conveyor is a core conveying equipment in underground coal mines. It relies on chains to drive scrapers in a cyclic push-pull motion within a trough, enabling horizontal, inclined, or even small-angle vertical transport of coal and gangue. Its low-profile body fits closely to the roadway floor and can also serve as a travel track for shearers, combining transport and equipment support functions, making it an essential component of fully mechanized mining faces.

Working Principle The motor at the head drives a sprocket set to rotate two closed-loop chains continuously. Multiple scraper plates fixed to the chains slide along the inner surface of the middle trough, continuously scraping the coal material that falls into the trough toward the head. The material is then discharged from the unloading point at the head to the next-level transfer equipment. The tail sprocket serves to tension the chains and reverse their circulation. Application Fields 1. Fully mechanized coal mining faces: Synchronously transports raw coal extracted by the shearer while providing a walking track for the shearer. 2. Underground roadway excavation: Transports gangue and waste slag generated during excavation. 3. Coal preparation plants: Enclosed transportation of materials after coal grading and sorting in workshops. 4. Chemical and grain industries: Enclosed, dust-proof transportation of powdery and granular materials.
