Cyclone dust collector

Cyclone dust collector

Product Information

  • Name : Cyclone dust collector
  • SKU : BLT-148
  • Category : cyclone-collectors

Cyclone dust collectors are pre-dust removal devices that rely on centrifugal force to achieve coarse gas-solid separation. They have no filter media consumables, are resistant to high temperatures and corrosion, and feature a simple structure that is easy to maintain. They primarily capture large particulate dust in flue gas and are often used as pre-treatment equipment before baghouse dust collectors. By first separating most of the coarse ash, they reduce the load on downstream filter bags. The equipment has low construction costs, operates without wearing parts, and is suitable for high-concentration, high-temperature dust-laden flue gas conditions.

Working Principle The dust-laden flue gas enters the cyclone body through a tangential inlet, forming a high-speed downward rotating outer vortex along the inner wall. Dust particles are flung toward the inner wall by strong centrifugal force, sliding down along the wall and the conical section into the bottom ash hopper. After reaching the bottom of the cone, the airflow reverses direction, forming an upward inner clean airflow at the center of the device, which is discharged through the top exhaust pipe, completing the separation of dust and gas. The accumulated dust in the ash hopper is periodically discharged through a discharge valve. Application Fields 1. Asphalt Mixing: Primary dust removal for the exhaust gas of asphalt mixing plant dryers, pre-separating large aggregate dust. 2. Commercial Concrete Industry: Pre-coarse dust removal for powder silos and main building dust in concrete mixing plants. 3. Boiler Flue Gas: First-stage dust pretreatment for high-temperature flue gas from coal-fired and biomass boilers. 4. Mining and Stone Materials: Recovery and treatment of large-particle dust from ore crushing and screening processes.
