Sludge Drying Equipment
Working Principle
The dewatered wet sludge is fed into a sealed drying drum through a feeding device. The equipment continuously supplies heat to the drum's interlayer or internal heat exchange blades using heat sources such as steam, thermal oil, or hot air. Inside the drum, the sludge is continuously turned and conveyed by stirring blades, ensuring full contact with the high-temperature heat exchange surfaces, causing the moisture to evaporate steadily. A negative pressure system extracts the water vapor and a small amount of odorous exhaust gas, which is then sent to an exhaust gas treatment system for purification before being discharged up to standards. The dried sludge with low moisture content is discharged from the outlet, completing the entire drying process.
Application Fields
1. Municipal Sludge: Deep drying and volume reduction treatment of dewatered sludge from urban wastewater treatment plants.
2. Industrial Solid Waste: Reduction and drying treatment of hazardous sludge from chemical, printing and dyeing, and paper industries.
3. River Sediment: Drying and volume reduction of dredged river and lake bottom sediment for convenient transportation.
4. Kitchen Waste Treatment: Drying and stabilization treatment of biogas residue from kitchen waste and food waste residue.
5. Livestock Manure: Drying of dewatered manure from large-scale farms for use as organic fertilizer raw material.
