Small High-Head Vortex Pump
Working Principle
This pump is a single-stage cantilever vortex pump, with a vortex-type impeller and radially arranged blades. After the liquid enters the pump body from the suction pipe, under the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the impeller, a high-speed rotating annular liquid flow (i.e., "vortex") is formed in the pump body flow channel. During the process of multiple energy exchanges between the blades and the flow channel, the liquid obtains energy step by step, thereby achieving a higher head. As the liquid is acted upon by the impeller multiple times inside the pump, the vortex pump can achieve a much higher head than ordinary centrifugal pumps under small flow conditions, making it suitable for high-head, small-flow delivery conditions.
Application Fields
1. Small water supply and boosting systems: used for pressure boosting in high-rise buildings, boiler feed water, hot water circulation, and small pressurized water supply devices, delivering clean, particle-free clean water or softened water.
2. Chemical and light industries: conveying dilute solutions of acids, alkalis, salts, and corrosive liquids such as alcohols and solvents, suitable for chemical batching, electroplating solution circulation, and liquid supply for small reaction kettles.
3. Food and pharmaceutical industries: conveying viscous fluids (viscosity not greater than 5°E) such as syrup, fruit juice, alcoholic beverages, and medicinal liquids without solid particles, meeting sanitary delivery requirements.
4. Cooling and temperature control systems: used in small refrigeration equipment, laser equipment cooling circulation, and laboratory constant temperature circulation systems, providing a stable low-pressure head circulating liquid flow.
