Welding machine

Product Information

  • Name : Welding machine
  • SKU : BLT-27
  • Category : welding-machines

An electric welding machine is an industrial device that uses electrical energy to generate a high-temperature arc, melting the base metal and welding material to achieve the splicing and repair welding of metal components. Its core principle involves converting mains-frequency alternating current into a low-voltage, high-current power source suitable for welding. Common mainstream models include inverter DC manual arc welders, CO2 gas shielded welders, TIG welders, spot welders, submerged arc welders, and plasma cutting combo machines. Compact and portable models are ideal for outdoor emergency repairs, while industrial heavy-duty models can sustain continuous welding for extended periods. Widely used in steel structure assembly, equipment maintenance, sheet metal processing, pipeline construction, and hardware fabrication, it is an essential welding device for mechanical processing and infrastructure projects.

Working Principle The mains power enters the internal rectification and inverter module of the welding machine, which steps down and rectifies the conventional 220V/380V high-voltage AC power, outputting low-voltage, high-current electrical energy. When the welding rod or welding gun contacts the workpiece, a short circuit is instantly formed, breaking down the air and generating a high-temperature electric arc. The arc temperature can reach thousands of degrees Celsius, melting and fusing the metal workpiece with the welding core or wire. After cooling, a strong welded joint is formed. The welding machine is equipped with a built-in current adjustment knob, allowing the output power to be adjusted according to the thickness of the plate, matching the requirements of different welding processes. Application Fields 1. Steel structure engineering: Assembly welding of factory steel frames, bridge supports, and shelf frames; 2. Equipment maintenance industry: Repair of mechanical frames, pump supports, and conveyor equipment components; 3. Sheet metal and hardware processing: Welding and forming of boxes, frames, doors, windows, iron art, and small hardware items; 4. Pipeline and chemical industry: Bevel welding and leak repair of carbon steel pipelines and thermal pipelines; 5. Construction and infrastructure: Welding of steel bars, embedded parts, and temporary component fixation on construction sites.
