Alarm system
**Working Principle**
Various detection sensors operate 24/7 to collect environmental status in real time: door/window sensors monitor opening and closing, infrared detectors track human movement within an area, smoke detectors capture smoke concentration, and gas detectors identify flammable/toxic gas exceeding limits. Abnormal signals are transmitted to the alarm host via wired or wireless methods. The host compares the signals against preset alert logic, and upon determining an alarm event, immediately activates a local high-decibel siren and strobe light. Simultaneously, alarm information is pushed to the mobile phones and computer platforms of management personnel via the network. Some systems can directly interface with property security platforms or the 110 emergency dispatch platform. The linkage module can automatically execute actions, such as closing the pipeline solenoid valve and activating ventilation in the event of a gas leak, triggering sprinklers and exhaust fans during a fire, or automatically popping up surveillance footage and recording in case of unauthorized intrusion.
**Application Areas**
1. **Fire Alarm Systems**: Smoke and heat detectors are installed in office buildings, factories, shopping malls, and residential communities. They automatically alert in the early stages of a fire and activate fire pumps and exhaust systems, making them a mandatory standard system for building fire protection.
2. **Home Security and Burglary Prevention**: Door/window sensors, infrared detectors, and emergency call buttons are used in residences. When the system is armed and someone attempts to break in, an immediate remote alert is sent to the homeowner.
3. **Retail and Warehouse Theft Prevention**: After closing, the system is armed. If someone climbs in during the night, the on-site alarm sounds to deter thieves and sends alert information.
4. **Factory Perimeter Protection**: Electronic fences and laser beam detectors are installed along the perimeter. Crossing the fence triggers an alarm, preventing unauthorized personnel from entering the factory or warehouse.
5. **Chemical Plants and Server Room Security**: Combined with gas detection alarms, the system forms a linkage mechanism. In the event of a gas leak, it automatically shuts off the gas and activates ventilation to prevent explosions and poisoning accidents.
