The access control system is an intelligent management system for entry/exit permission control, used for identity verification, permission release, and passage record management of personnel entering and exiting designated doors. It is composed of access controllers, identification terminals, locks, power supplies, switch buttons, and management software. Common identification methods include password, card swiping, fingerprint, face, iris, mobile NFC, remote QR code, ID card recognition, etc. It can be divided into single-door simple access control, multi-door networked access control, office building intercom access control, construction site access control, prison anti-tailgating access control, license plate vehicle access control, etc. It is widely used in office buildings, residential communities, factory workshops, server rooms, warehouses, school dormitories, and confidential places to prevent unrelated personnel from entering and leaving at will.

Access Control System

Working Principle Administrators enter personnel information in the backend system and assign corresponding door access permissions; personnel swipe cards / scan faces / enter passwords at the terminal, and the device collects identity information and uploads it to the access controller for database comparison; after information matching succeeds, the controller outputs a signal to drive the electromagnetic lock, motor lock, or electric bolt lock to unlock the door, and automatically saves the passage time, personnel, and door point records; personnel with expired permissions or unauthorized personnel cannot open the door, and some devices capture photos for evidence; the networked version can remotely set permissions, view door opening logs, temporarily authorize visitors to open doors, and can also link to the alarm system, triggering an alarm when the door is violently pried. Application Areas 1. Enterprise office buildings: employees use face / card swiping for commuting attendance and departmental access control to prevent outsiders from entering office areas at will; 2. Residential communities: unit building intercom access control and face access control at community gates, restricting strangers from entering buildings and improving community security; 3. Construction sites: real-name face access control connected to the housing and construction platform, recording entry and exit attendance of workers, and implementing site personnel management; 4. Server rooms and confidential warehouses: multi-factor verification access control (face + password + card swiping), strictly controlling entry/exit permissions for important equipment rooms and archive warehouses; 5. Campus dormitories and teaching buildings: dormitory access control prevents outsiders from entering, and teaching buildings have scheduled door opening/closing control for passage.
