Patrol equipment, also known as an electronic patrol system, is an intelligent management tool used to regulate security, property management, and maintenance personnel in conducting fixed-point inspection check-ins along designated routes. The entire system consists of three components: the patrol wand (handheld collector), patrol points (information buttons), and management software/backend cloud platform. Based on communication methods, it is divided into offline inductive patrol and WiFi/4G real-time online patrol. The inspection points are typically passive information buttons affixed to walls, equipment boxes, corridors, or perimeter fences. Security personnel follow scheduled routes to touch the points sequentially for check-in, and the system automatically records the inspection time, location, and personnel, effectively preventing missed inspections, absenteeism, and late arrivals.

Working Principle Offline Patrol: Patrol point numbers, patrol routes, and shift plans are pre-entered in the backend system. The patrol wand touches the built-in chip at the patrol point at close range, automatically reading the point information and storing it in the device. After the patrol, the wand is connected to a computer, and the data is imported into the management system, which automatically generates patrol reports to check for missed or incorrect checks. Online Real-Time Patrol: The device is equipped with a 4G/WiFi module, and check-in data is instantly uploaded to the cloud backend. The management end can view the patrol personnel's location and check-in trajectory in real time, and automatic alerts are sent for abnormal missed patrols. Some models add NFC check-in, QR code points, and emergency alarm buttons, allowing one-click reporting to the security center in case of emergencies. Application Areas 1. Residential Community Property: Night patrols at designated points in hallways, basements, community walls, and garages to prevent theft and fire hazards. 2. Factory Industrial Parks: Regular patrols at factory walls, warehouses, hazardous chemical workshops, and power distribution rooms to inspect equipment and security risks. 3. Commercial Complexes: Fire and theft prevention patrols in shopping mall floors, fire exits, equipment rooms, and high/low voltage rooms. 4. Power and Communication Industry: Field patrols at designated points in substations, base stations, and optical cable lines to record equipment operation and maintenance checks. 5. Prisons, Hospitals, and Schools: Regular patrols and duty at key areas to strengthen personnel and area security management.
