Power Quality Analyzer

Power Quality Analyzer

Product Information

  • Name : Power Quality Analyzer
  • SKU : BLT-57
  • Category : power-quality-analyzers

The power quality analyzer is a specialized comprehensive testing instrument for power grid supply systems, equivalent to an electrical health check device for the power system. Paired with voltage test leads and clamp-on current transformers, it can simultaneously collect three-phase voltage and current signals, accurately measuring active/reactive power, power factor, harmonic distortion, three-phase imbalance, voltage flicker, voltage dips and swells, power interruptions, transient events, and electricity consumption. It supports visual display of waveforms, spectrums, and phasor diagrams, enables long-term storage of monitoring data, and allows report export. Available in portable handheld and cabinet-mounted fixed online versions, it is used to diagnose power faults such as grid interference, equipment shutdowns, line heating, and abnormal meter readings, meeting compliance testing requirements for power acceptance, energy-saving retrofits, and grid connection inspections.

**Working Principle** Line voltage is accessed through voltage terminals, and loop current is sensed via clamp-on transformers. The raw electrical signals are noise-reduced by a conditioning circuit and then converted into digital signals by a high-speed analog-to-digital converter. The built-in DSP processor performs FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) calculations to analyze waveforms, compute parameters such as harmonic content, unbalance, and flicker, and automatically capture abnormal grid conditions like swells, sags, and outages, recording event times and waveforms. All parameters are displayed in real time on the screen, while data is stored locally. It can be uploaded to PC software via USB or Ethernet for in-depth analysis and report generation. **Application Fields** 1. **Power Substations**: Routine inspection of power quality in transmission and distribution lines, and fault tracing. 2. **New Energy (Photovoltaic & Wind Power)**: Detection of grid-connected power parameters for power stations, meeting grid access acceptance standards. 3. **Industrial Plants**: Testing before and after harmonic mitigation for equipment such as variable-frequency drives and electric arc furnaces, troubleshooting motor burnout and unexplained production line shutdowns. 4. **Data Center Server Rooms**: Monitoring the stability of UPS (uninterruptible power supply) to ensure server power safety.
