  • Category : drying-ovens

A drying oven, also known as an oven or electric thermostatic drying oven, is a chamber-type constant temperature device that dries, dehumidifies, cures, and heat-treats materials through controlled heating. It relies on a sealed inner chamber for temperature regulation, allowing precise temperature settings and long-term constant temperature operation. It is categorized into types such as benchtop small drying ovens, vertical large industrial ovens, and vacuum drying ovens. It can remove moisture from samples, evaporate solvents, and is also used for component aging, workpiece drying, and sample sterilization. It is a common constant temperature drying device in laboratories, chemical, electronics, and hardware industries.

**Working Principle** The interior of the chamber is equipped with an electric heating tube assembly, which, in conjunction with a fan that forces hot air circulation, ensures uniform temperature distribution inside the chamber. A temperature control instrument collects real-time temperature data from the chamber and automatically starts or stops the heating circuit to maintain the internal temperature at the set value. For vacuum models, the air inside the chamber is first evacuated to create a negative pressure environment, lowering the boiling point of liquids and enabling low-temperature drying, thereby preventing thermal degradation of heat-sensitive materials. **Application Fields** 1. **Laboratory Testing**: Drying of glassware, dehydration and constant weight of sample specimens, moisture-proof storage of chemical reagents. 2. **Electronics Industry**: Dehumidification and drying of circuit boards and electronic components to prevent moisture-induced short circuits. 3. **Chemical Coatings**: Removal of moisture from powder raw materials, curing of glue and resin, determination of volatile content in samples. 4. **Hardware and Machinery**: Water removal from workpieces before electroplating, drying of oil stains on parts, heat treatment of small components.
