Control valve

Control valve

Product Information

  • Name : Control valve
  • SKU : BLT-71
  • Category : control-valves

The control valve is a terminal actuating control valve in industrial pipeline systems. It is paired with electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic actuators to receive regulation signals from the control system, precisely adjusting the valve core opening to control the on-off status, flow rate, pressure, temperature, and liquid level of the medium within the pipeline. It is adaptable to various media such as gas, liquid, and steam, featuring precise regulation, reliable sealing, and remote automatic control capabilities. It serves as a core flow and pressure regulation device in automated process pipelines.

Working Principle The central control system sends standard control signals to drive the upper actuator, which moves the valve stem and valve core, altering the flow area between the valve core and seat. As a result, the medium flow rate through the valve increases or decreases accordingly, enabling dynamic regulation of pipeline medium parameters. When the signal is completely cut off, the valve core closes, directly stopping the flow in the pipeline. With the assistance of a positioner, valve stroke errors can be corrected, ensuring regulation accuracy and achieving closed-loop automatic adjustment of process parameters. Application Fields 1. Chemical Industry: Ratio control of reactor feed and discharge, regulation of reaction pressure and temperature medium. 2. Heating Supply: Control of steam flow in heating networks, regulation of heating water temperature and pipeline pressure. 3. Water Supply and Drainage: Control of water flow in water plant pipelines, coordinated water level control in tanks. 4. Oil and Gas: Regulation of medium flow rate and transport pressure in oil and gas pipelines.
