Product Information

  • Name : Hoist
  • SKU : BLT-75
  • Category : bucket-elevators

A hoist is a specialized device used for vertically lifting and transporting materials. Common mainstream types include bucket elevators, TH chain bucket elevators, NE plate chain bucket elevators, TD belt bucket elevators, vertical screw elevators, and feeders. The complete machine mainly consists of a head drive assembly, a casing barrel, a traction chain/belt, buckets, a base feed inlet, a top discharge outlet, and a tensioning device. It features a closed shell structure to prevent dust dispersion and material spillage. It is primarily used for the continuous vertical transport of powdery, granular, and small lump materials from low to high positions, occupying minimal space while offering a large lifting height. It is often combined with silos, mixers, and screening equipment to form an automated feeding system.

Working Principle The motor at the head drives the sprocket or pulley, pulling the chain/belt to circulate around the upper and lower head and tail wheels. The bucket scoops material at the bottom inlet and moves vertically upward along the enclosed casing with the traction component. When it reaches the head at the top, the bucket flips with the sprocket's rotation, using centrifugal force and gravity to discharge the material from the outlet. The empty bucket then descends along the other side of the casing back to the bottom for reloading, repeating the cycle for continuous vertical material lifting. The fully enclosed casing effectively suppresses dust and material loss. Application Fields 1. Building Materials and Cement Industry: Lifting cement, fly ash, limestone powder, raw and clinker materials from the bottom of storage silos to the top for storage, and feeding raw materials in mixing stations. 2. Grain Processing Industry: Vertical conveying of wheat, corn, rice, and coarse grains into silos, and high-position feeding of raw materials in grain and oil production lines. 3. Chemical Powder Industry: Vertical lifting and batching of plastic pellets, chemical powders, and resin granules, with enclosed conveying to prevent dust pollution. 4. Mining and Metallurgy Industry: Lifting and transferring mineral powder, coke, sintered materials, and crushed ore, suitable for feeding processes in front of smelting furnaces.
