Air compressor

Product Information

  • Name : Air compressor
  • SKU : BLT-82
  • Category : air-compressors

An air compressor, full name air compressor, is a power gas source device that compresses and pressurizes atmospheric air into high-pressure compressed air for storage. It is mainly divided into three types: piston air compressors, screw air compressors, and scroll air compressors. The complete unit generally includes a main engine head, drive motor, oil-gas separation system, cooling and heat dissipation components, air storage tank, pressure control system, and drying and filtration post-treatment equipment.

Working Principle Piston air compressors rely on the crankshaft to drive the piston in a reciprocating motion within the cylinder. The cylinder volume decreases to compress the air, and a one-way valve controls the unidirectional pressing of air into the storage tank. Screw air compressors rely on a pair of male and female rotors that intermesh and rotate, with the tooth groove volume continuously decreasing. The air is progressively compressed and pressurized in the chamber. During compression, lubricating oil is injected for sealing and cooling, and then the oil is separated through an oil-gas separator to obtain high-pressure gas. The equipment is equipped with a pressure switch. When the air pressure in the tank reaches the set upper limit, it automatically shuts down; when the pressure drops below the lower limit, it automatically starts to replenish pressure, continuously maintaining stable air pressure in the pipeline. Application Fields 1. Mechanical processing industry: supplies air for pneumatic wrenches, pneumatic grinders, drilling and tapping fixtures, and pneumatic clamping devices for CNC equipment. 2. Auto repair and painting operations: used for pneumatic impact wrenches for tire removal and installation in car repair, sheet metal painting, sandblasting rust removal, and pneumatic water guns for car washing. 3. Chemical and wastewater treatment: provides pneumatic power for pneumatic valves, diaphragm pumps, aeration blowers, and chemical dosing pneumatic devices. 4. Mining and construction sites: serves as a power source for pneumatic picks, rock drills, tunnel ventilation and sweeping, and construction pneumatic tools. 5. Packaging and textile industry: supplies air for automatic balers, textile pneumatic thread-cutting equipment, blow molding machines, and label suction devices.
