Diaphragm pump
Working Principle
After compressed air enters the pump's air distribution mechanism, it alternately pushes the diaphragms on the left and right ends of the pump body to perform reciprocating push-pull deformation. When one side of the diaphragm stretches outward, the pump chamber volume on that side increases, creating negative pressure. The inlet ball valve opens, and the outlet ball valve closes, allowing the material to be drawn into the pump chamber under negative pressure. On the other side, the diaphragm compresses inward, reducing the pump chamber volume and increasing internal pressure. The outlet ball valve is pushed open to discharge the material, while the inlet ball valve closes to prevent backflow, completing the medium discharge. The air path valve automatically switches the air intake direction, and the left and right pump chambers continuously alternate between the suction and discharge processes, achieving uninterrupted material transfer. The diaphragm completely separates the pneumatic power chamber from the flow medium chamber, preventing compressed air from mixing with the conveyed material. Additionally, the equipment has no rotating shaft structure, completely eliminating common pump shaft seal leakage and air leakage failures.
Application Fields
1. Chemical Industry: Used for conveying strong acids, strong alkalis, organic solvents, paints and coatings, resin adhesives, and electroplating chemicals. The fluoroplastic pump body can withstand highly corrosive chemical media.
2. Environmental Protection and Wastewater Treatment: Used for pumping sludge, wastewater, flocculants, and impurity-containing wastewater. The equipment can run dry without damage from dry friction.
3. Flammable and Explosive Conditions: The purely pneumatic structure has no motor or electric sparks, making it suitable for conveying flammable liquids such as alcohol, gasoline, and thinners, without the need for additional explosion-proof modifications.
4. Food and Pharmaceutical Industry: Sanitary-grade stainless steel diaphragm pumps are used to convey jams, sauces, medicinal liquids, and dairy products. They are easy to disassemble for disinfection and cleaning.
