Mechanical Bar Screen
Working Principle
The motor‑reducer drives chain or rotary rake teeth for constant‑speed rotation. Rake teeth dip into channel flow to hook and lift suspended and floating solid waste. When reaching the top position, rakes flip via guide rail; debris drops by gravity into slag hopper or conveyor, realizing continuous automatic slag‑removal and intercepting large‑size water‑borne impurities.
Application Areas
Municipal wastewater treatment plants:Inlet‑well pretreatment to intercept domestic waste and pipeline‑carried floating debris.
Rain‑water & drainage pumping stations:Block leaves, branches and plastic bags during flood periods to avoid pump impeller entanglement and jamming.
Industrial wastewater treatment:Papermaking, printing‑dyeing, food processing and slaughter‑house wastewater for removing fibers, residues and scraps.
River & landscape water management:Regular floating‑garbage removal at river intercept outlets and lake inlets.
Water supply‑drainage plants:Pre‑filtration at intake points, blocking aquatic plants and debris to safeguard follow‑up equipment.
Key Advantages
‑ Fully automatic continuous slag‑removal, minimal manual intervention
‑ Multiple structural options: rotary, rake‑tooth, chain‑plate and mobile types
‑ Reliable interception of large‑size floating solids, effectively protecting downstream pumps
‑ Stable running performance and convenient routine maintenance
