Product Information

  • Name : Multi-Function Electronic Descaler | Electronic Water Treater | Physical Scale Control Equipment
  • SKU : BLT-311
  • Category : integrated-wastewater-treatment-equipment

A physical water treatment device designed for scale prevention and removal in industrial circulating water systems and central HVAC cooling water circuits. It uses high-frequency electromagnetic fields to alter the crystallization behavior of scale-forming ions, turning them into fine particles that stay suspended and get flushed out with the water flow. No chemicals added, no secondary pollution. Also known as electronic descaler, electronic water treater, or multi-function electronic water processor.

Multi-Function Electronic Descaler | Electronic Water Treater | Physical Scale Control Equipment

Working Principle The unit consists of a carbon steel housing, a high-frequency electromagnetic field generator, a corona field generator, and a blowdown device. As water passes through the treatment chamber, the high-frequency electromagnetic field alters the arrangement order of calcium and magnesium ions, shifting scale crystal formation toward a loosely structured form that resists adhesion to pipe walls. The field also weakens the bond between existing scale and pipe walls, causing old deposits to soften, crack, and eventually flake off. The magnetized water additionally inhibits the activity of bacteria and algae. Application Fields 1.Central HVAC & Refrigeration: Cooling water systems, chilled water circuits, chiller scale prevention 2.Industrial Circulating Water: Cooling towers and heat exchanger scale control 3.Heating & Hot Water: Hot water circulation systems and boiler feedwater scale prevention 4.Commercial & Residential: Hotel hot water systems, laundries, swimming pools and other water systems FAQ Q1: What is the difference between a multi-function electronic descaler and a traditional water softener? A: A traditional water softener uses ion exchange resin to remove calcium and magnesium ions from water — it actually takes the hardness out. An electronic descaler doesn't remove anything; it changes the crystal structure of scale-forming minerals so they don't stick to pipe walls or heat exchange surfaces. That means no salt, no regeneration, no wastewater discharge, and no resin replacement. The trade-off is that descaling performance depends on water chemistry and system conditions, while a softener delivers consistent hardness removal regardless. Q2: What water conditions does the electronic descaler work best in? A: It performs best in circulating water systems with moderate to high hardness, typical of cooling towers, heat exchangers, and HVAC chilled water loops. Water temperature below 90°C, flow velocity above 1 m/s, and total hardness in the range of 200–700 mg/L as CaCO₃ are ideal. Very low hardness water won't show much effect since there's little scale to prevent. Extremely high hardness or high suspended solids may require pretreatment or a different approach. Q3: How is the electronic descaler installed and maintained? A: The unit installs directly on the pipe — flange or thread connection, depending on model. It needs a power supply and a blowdown drain for periodic flushing. No chemical tanks, no salt storage, no resin beds. Maintenance is minimal: check the electrode and housing for scale buildup or corrosion once or twice a year, and verify the control panel is functioning. There are no consumables to replace. Most models run on standard 220V or 380V power and draw very low wattage.
