Ozone Destructor | ODH Heat Type Ozone Destructor

Product Information

  • Name : Ozone Destructor | ODH Heat Type Ozone Destructor
  • SKU : BLT-279
  • Category : integrated-wastewater-treatment-equipment

Heat-type ozone destructor (ODH high-temperature ozone destroyer) is a dedicated off-gas treatment equipment installed at the downstream of ozone generators for ozone process. The complete unit consists of process pipelines, heating assemblies, pressure monitoring modules and electric control units. It is specially designed to decompose residual ozone discharged from ozone processes and convert harmful ozone into oxygen rapidly, meeting environmental emission standards and workshop safety requirements.

Ozone Destructor | ODH Heat Type Ozone Destructor

Working Principle It adopts ODH high-temperature thermal decomposition method. Ozone is chemically unstable and will decompose into oxygen faster with rising temperature. Ozone starts to decompose at 30°C, and the decomposition rate increases obviously at 50~80°C. At 200°C, the ozone decomposition rate reaches around 80% within 1 minute; at 250°C, the decomposition rate rises to 92%~95%. When the temperature hits 300°C or above, residual ozone can be 100% decomposed with only 1~2 seconds of retention time, without generating secondary pollutants. Application Fields Ozone generation system: Supporting ozone off-gas treatment equipment for ozone generators to break down unreacted residual ozone, prevent ozone leakage and comply with environmental discharge regulations. Industrial wastewater treatment: Ozone tail gas elimination after ozone oxidation process for wastewater, protecting on-site operators. Pure water & tap water treatment: Ozone off-gas destruction after ozone disinfection for water purification and remove ozone pollution. Chemical oxidation process: Residual ozone decomposition for chemical ozone catalytic oxidation systems. Space ozone disinfection: Degrade tail gas after ozone sterilization in food workshops, cold storage and clean workshops.
