Plate and frame closed filters are pressure-type enclosed equipment for solid-liquid separation. The unit is corrosion-resistant and built for long service life. Its filter plates adopt a threaded mesh structure. Different filter media can be switched to meet rough, semi-fine and fine filtration requirements. When fitted with microporous membranes, it achieves sterile filtration. Operators can add or remove filter layers according to flow rates to match production needs. All sealing components use silicone gaskets, which are heat-resistant, non-toxic and leak-proof. Explosion-proof pumps are available as an option.

Working Principle Feed liquid is pumped into the sealed filter chamber under pressure. Solid contaminants are trapped on the surface of filter plates, while clarified liquid passes through the filter media and flows into the central collection pipe for discharge. As filtration proceeds, filter cake builds up on filter plates and system pressure rises. Filtration stops once the preset pressure limit is hit. The filter stack can then be disassembled to clean or replace filter media. The modular plate design enables easy disassembly and quick residue removal. Application Fields Condiment & alcohol industry: Clarification filtration for liquor and seasonings. Oil & fat industry: Solid-liquid separation of grease materials. Petrochemical & petroleum industry: Filtration of oil products and chemical process fluids. Pharmaceutical industry: Clarification and sterile filtration of medicinal liquids. Beverage industry: Purification of various beverage feed liquids.
