The refrigerated air dryer consists of a heat exchange unit, refrigeration unit and electric control module. It dries compressed air by lowering the air temperature so that moisture inside the compressed air condenses and separates out. Its operating principle is similar to a household refrigerator. As compressed air flows through the refrigerated pipeline, its temperature drops to the target level to meet drying requirements. The dryer uses vapor-compression refrigeration. All components are connected by pipes to form a closed loop. Refrigerant circulates continuously inside the system, changes its physical state and exchanges heat with compressed air and cooling media.
