Reinforced PVDF MBR Membrane Sheet
Membrane Structure & Technical Features
The membrane sheet consists mainly of reinforced polyvinylidene fluoride hollow fiber filaments, paired with independent water collection pipes and bottom inner aeration pipes. Aeration airflow is released from the bottom aeration pipe to continuously scour the membrane surface and slow down pollutant buildup.
1.Ultra-high strength: The unique support-layer manufacturing technology delivers much higher tensile and compressive strength than ordinary hollow fiber membranes. It withstands pulling force over 50 KG, widely known as “unbreakable membrane”.
2.Superior fouling resistance: Built with PVDF alloy as the filtration layer, its ultra-smooth surface repels sludge and colloids, slowing membrane fouling and extending cleaning intervals and service life.
3.Great chemical stability: The PVDF base material resists acids, alkalis and oxidants. It tolerates on-site chemical cleaning using sodium hypochlorite and adapts to harsh wastewater conditions.
4.High flux: Uniform pores across membrane filaments deliver excellent water permeability, stable water production and extremely low suspended solids in effluent.
Working Principle
Submerged in the mixed liquor of the biochemical tank, the membrane sheet works under negative pressure suction. Water passes through tiny pores of the hollow fiber into the inner cavity of the filaments and flows to the outlet pipe as clean permeate. Activated sludge, suspended solids and large-molecule contaminants are trapped outside the membrane fibers. Continuous aeration from the bottom inner aeration pipe scrubs the membrane surface to strip attached sludge, mitigate fouling and maintain stable long-term filtration performance.
